Description
The team at Ursell we commissioned to design and install a indoor sauna and steam room at the high end spa in the Harbour Hotel Richmond.
To suit the classy aesthetic, the steam room was tiled using large format porcelain tiles. Scented steam is infused into the sauna via discreet inlet pipes and an automatic dosing system was installed, controlled by a microprocessor in the generator which allows the interval and dosing times to be adjusted. The steam room is lit using two low voltage ceiling lights, concealed under seat LED lighting and three uplighters in the seat backrests.
The Sauna was built using the finest Alder on all walls, ceilings and benches. The colour changing LED allows the mood and feel of the sauna to be changed at the click of a button and a top of the range hidden heater
Thermal rooms are key for post workout recovery and great places to relax and de-stress. The heat provided in both saunas and steam rooms have health benefits, aiding blood circulation and helping to relieve muscle tension.
